Celebrating Atlanta Black Gay Labor Day Weekend 2011
August 31st - September 5th
The Third Largest Black Gay Pride
August 24, 2011, Oakland, CA: The Atlanta Black Gay Community is an ever and forever growing strong. This event started out as a back yard picnic by the host Henri McTerry. He invited his family and friends. The next thing he knew, there were 1,000 guests in his back yard. This historic event led to the third largest Black Gay Pride in the world. People travel from places throughout the county and abroad heading towards Atlanta. It is a remembrance of culture, relationships, love, spirituality, community organizing, education, HealthCare, family and just plain fun.
I am excited to host my second annual Atlanta Black Gay Pride Internet Radio Talk Show. We will talk about the events and programs going on in ‘Hotlanta.’ Our guests continue to make a difference in the Atlanta Black Gay Communities and recognize across the country for their talent and commitment.
Our special guests are: Mary Ann Adams, Anthony-Antoine, Claudia Moss, Tracee McDaniel, Elder Tony Jones and the Father of Atlanta Black Gay Pride – Henri McTerry. My Co-Host is Brandon Bragg, a Community Activist who set up the Brunch Conversations Networking Group for LGBT professionals.
I would like to introduce my staff, Assistant Producer, Vicki McGee, and Music Producer, Nondice Mason who is also my Sorority Sister – Yea Deltas. Her stage name is Tuddie. I will be playing her music throughout the show.
Let's get ready for a great show!!!
